ஜூன் 23 அன்று டிஎன்பிஎஸ்சி இந்த ஆட்சேர்ப்பை அறிவித்தபோது 26 பணியிடங்கள் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டன. பின்னர் தேர்வாணையம் மேலும் 20 பணியிடங்களைச் சேர்த்ததால், மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை 46 ஆனது. முதலில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட 26 பணியிடங்கள்:

- முன்கூட்டியே வாருங்கள்: தேர்வு காலை 9:30-க்குத் தொடங்கினாலும், 9:00 மணிக்குப் பிறகு வருபவர்கள் மையத்திற்குள் அனுமதிக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.
- இறுதி வரை இருங்கள்: தேர்வு முடியும் பிற்பகல் 12:30-க்கு முன் அறையை விட்டு வெளியேற முடியாது.
- மின்னணு சாதனங்களுக்குத் தடை: கைபேசி, கால்குலேட்டர் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து மின்னணு சாதனங்களும் மையத்திற்குள் தடை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.

From 26 posts to 46
When TNPSC announced the recruitment on June 23, it notified 26 vacancies. The Commission later added 20 more, bringing the total to 46. The original 26 posts were:

With 2,23,440 candidates for 46 posts, that works out to roughly 4,850 candidates for every vacancy.
Who is writing the exam
TNPSC received 2,23,444 applications, and 2,23,440 candidates have been permitted to appear. Women form the clear majority:
- Women: 1,27,441 (about 57%)
- Men: 95,984 (about 43%)
- Transgender candidates: 15
One chief invigilator has been appointed for each examination centre, and police personnel will be deployed at the venues. Only candidates will be allowed inside — family members accompanying them will have to wait outside.
Rules candidates must follow
- Reach early: anyone arriving after 9:00 AM will not be allowed into the centre, even though the exam begins at 9:30 AM.
- Stay till the end: candidates cannot leave the hall before the exam ends at 12:30 PM.
- No electronic devices: mobile phones, calculators and all other electronic devices are banned inside the centre.
- Follow every instruction printed on the hall ticket and given by the invigilators.
Don't carry your phone to the hall hoping to hand it in at the gate — there may be no place to leave it safely. Leave it at home or with the person accompanying you.
Last-minute checklist
- Print your hall ticket from the official TNPSC website (tnpsc.gov.in) if you haven't already, and keep a spare copy.
- Keep the documents mentioned on the hall ticket ready, including the required photo identity proof.
- Check the centre address tonight and plan your route. On a Sunday morning, allow extra time for buses and parking.
- Aim to reach the centre by 8:30 AM so you are inside well before the 9:00 AM cut-off.
- Carry a water bottle and a watch that is not a smartwatch, if the instructions allow it.
